OC- Destiny in my Hands

If you are one of my later watchers (or just dropping by) this is my Time Guardian OC Nathan Birthclod--I just love drawing him. In fact, I think this is my third time changing his "costume".

I'm thinking of writing a tragic backstory for anyone who wants to read it.

Ok, I've been depressed lately.
It's true I never upload stuff, I'm just depressed about the world lately that I can't draw great stuff lately. I even try to "change my art style" to follow the other "better artists" by "reading" their works, watching and reading tutorials in every place I can find but it failed. Abysmally.

So I almost gave up. Until going to a motivational course provided by my school and it thought me something.

I don't need to follow other people's artstyles. I just need to put my heart to it.

So, I revisited my little "journals" I kept (10 of them in fact with first one dating from 2005) and improved from there.

In 2 hours with Magia from Kalafina, the ED of Puella Magi Madoka Magica since it fits him nicely...this is a result.
In fact, I felt better already.

So lesson learnt: Be happy about your works and develop your own style. Who knows? Maybe "Destiny's in your hands".
